Overview of CD103 molecular target information
Molecular name: CD103 (Cluster of Differentiation 103)
Gene family: Integrin family
Synonyms: mucosal lymphocyte antigen 1, E -calmodulin receptor, HML-1 antigen
Formerly known as: Ber-ACT8, LF61
Overview of the molecular targets of CD103
Molecular weight is 150 kD, 25 kD and is expressed on intraepithelial lymphocytes, T lymphocytes of various mucosal lamina propria, and certain lymphocytes in peripheral blood and peripheral lymphoid organs. It belongs to the integrin α subgroup family, and its ligand is integrin β7, which binds to β7 to form αE/β7. αE/β7's ligand is E-calmodulin.
