CD127 is the α chain of interleukin-7 receptor, which forms a high affinity receptor with CD132 (β chain). CD127 is expressed in most T cells, but it can be decreased after T cells are activated, and it is also expressed in B cell precursors and monocytes. The expression of CD127 plays an important role in the maturation, maintenance and immune response of T lymphocytes.
