Summary of LAMP1/CD107a molecular targets
CD107a, also known as lysosomal associated membrane protein 1(LAMP-1) or LGP-120, is a 110-140kD type I membrane glycoprotein. The activated CD107a is transferred to the cell membrane surface of activated platelets, activated lymphocytes, macrophages, epithelial cells, endothelial cells and some tumor cells. CD107a is considered to play a role in protecting lysosomal membrane from lysosomal hydrolase, which is involved in the regulation of cell adhesion and tumor metastasis and mediates the progress of autoimmune diseases. CD107a is a ligand of galactophore and e-selectin The expression of LAMP-1 has been proved to be related to the cytotoxicity of CD8+T cells and NK cells.
