Fig.-Anti-Human CD8α, PerCP-Cy5.5 and Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control, PE (left) and Anti-Human CD8α, PerCP-Cy5.5 and Anti-Human IFN-γ, PE (Clone:4S.B3) were stained after human heparin anticoagulation was stimulated by PMA/Ionomycin and blocked by BFA/Monensin. The CD3+ cells were used for gated analysis.
Overview of IFNG molecular target information
Molecular name: IFNG, interferon gamma
Gene family: Interferons
Overview of IFNG molecular targets
IFN-γ is mainly produced by Th1 cells, belonging to the interferon family of type II cytokines. It is a kind of secreted glycoprotein, consisting of 143 amino acids, with a relative molecular weight of 16,942. IFN-γ is mainly produced by activated T cells and NK cells. It has biological activities such as regulating immune state, mediating cellular immunity, enhancing receptor-mediated phagocytosis, enhancing the killing activity of macrophages and neutrophils, and resisting viral infection and tumor.
