CD105 is a homodimeric membrane-penetrating glycoprotein containing the RGD sequence, which is a recognition element for the integrin family of adhesion molecule receptors. It has been shown that CD105 is a TGF-β receptor and is expressed in vascular endothelial cells of various tissues.
