Background Information

CXCL13 is a chemokine associated with B cell migration to the germinal center, produced by follicular helper T cells (TFH) originating from the germinal center. Studies have shown that in lymph nodes, CXCL13 is expressed exclusively in TFH cells and not in other T cells. Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a lymphoma originating from follicular helper T cells. A key diagnostic challenge is distinguishing it from reactive hyperplasia (RH) characterized by paracortical zone proliferation and non-specific peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL, NOS). CXCL13 is highly expressed in AITL (over 89%) and lowly expressed in PTCL, NOS (30%). In combination with CD10 and bcl-6, it serves as a useful marker for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of AITL.

Clinical Value

CXCL13 antibody reagents can specifically bind to the CXCL13 molecular antigen. Immunohistochemistry kits containing CXCL13 antibody reagents are suitable for the precise diagnosis of angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
