Principle: Antigenic preservation is achieved through a triple synergistic mechanism: ① p-benzoquinone (1,4-benzoquinone) specifically binds to the free sulfhydryl group (-SH) of peptides; ② formaldehyde rapidly penetrates and forms methylene bridges; and ③ glutaraldehyde cross-links the protein backbone. This combination enhances the antigenicity retention of small molecule peptides to more than 85% (conventional fixative only 40-60%).
Main components: p-benzoquinone, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde
