Insulin is composed of 51 amino acid residues, containing an A chain and A B chain, which are linked by disulfide bonds. Insulin is a hormone secreted by pancreatic beta cells. It is a hormone in the body that lowers blood sugar, promotes the uptake and utilization of glucose by tissue cells, and at the same time promotes the synthesis of glycogen, fat and protein. It is highly expressed in insulinoma and is mainly used for the functional classification of islet cell tumors and the auxiliary diagnosis of multiple endocrine tumors.
Insulin antibody reagents can specifically bind to Insulin molecular antigens. Immunohistochemical kits containing Insulin antibody reagents are suitable for the classification of islet cell tumors and the auxiliary diagnosis of multiple endocrine tumors.
