PTH is secreted by parathyroid chief cells and primarily functions to influence calcium and phosphorus metabolism and maintain stable blood calcium levels. Due to the specificity of antibody PTH expression in the parathyroid gland, it can be used to study tumors originating in the thyroid and parathyroid glands, as well as metastatic tumors that are difficult to distinguish from parathyroid-related tumors.
PTH antibody reagents can specifically bind to PTH molecular antigens. Immunohistochemistry kits containing PTH antibody reagents are suitable for the auxiliary diagnosis of parathyroid gland dysfunction (such as primary hyperparathyroidism and parathyroid cancer).
