Background Information

The fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) family belongs to the receptor tyrosine protein kinase family. The gene encoding human FGFR-3 is located on chromosome 4p16 and is involved in regulating organ development, cell proliferation and migration, tumorigenesis, and other processes. FGFR-3 is highly expressed in various tumors, including 20% of bladder cancers, 15% of multiple myelomas, prostate cancers, and oral squamous cell carcinomas, and is primarily used in tumor research.

Clinical Value

FGFR3 antibody reagents can specifically bind to FGFR3 molecular antigens. Immunohistochemistry kits containing FGFR3 antibody reagents are suitable for the auxiliary diagnosis of bladder cancer, multiple myeloma, prostate cancer, and oral squamous cell carcinoma.
