Amyloid A is an acute phase reactant protein. Abnormal deposition of amyloid A in the body can form amyloid substances. Immunohistochemical detection of amyloid A aids in the diagnosis of systemic amyloidosis, localized amyloidosis, and other diseases, and helps clarify the nature and distribution of amyloid substances. For example, the detection of amyloid A deposition in tissues such as the kidneys, heart, and liver is of great diagnostic value for amyloidosis in the corresponding organs.

Amyloid A antibody reagents can specifically bind to amyloid A molecular antigens. Immunohistochemistry kits containing amyloid A antibody reagents are suitable for the auxiliary diagnosis of secondary amyloidosis.
