Neurological tumors-ventricular meningiomas: C11orf95-RELA fusion gene positive ventricular meningiomas are prevalent in children and young adults, and are located on the supratentorial surface (accounting for more than 70% of supratentorial ventricular meningiomas), characterized by the presence of chromosome 11q13.1 fragmentation and rearrangement to form the RELA-C11orf95 fusion gene and high expression of the cell adhesion molecule L1CAM, and the histological manifestations of which are comparable to those of grade III ventricular meningioma or grade II interstitial degenerative ventricular meningioma. The prognosis is worse than other supratentorial ventricular meningiomas, with a 10-year progression-free survival rate of less than 20%.
Soft tissue tumors - chondromalacia lipomatosa: 75-85% of chondromalacia lipomas have a C11orf95-MKL2 fusion gene. Ancillary diagnosis of chondroplastic lipoma.
