There are four solid subtypes in the 2014 edition of WHO: (1) benign endometrial mesenchymal nodes; (2) low-grade ESS with multiple gene translocations, most commonly JAZF1 and/or PHF1; (3) high-grade ESS with YWHAE-NUTM2 fusion genes; and (4) undifferentiated endometrial sarcoma with complex karyotype. This probe can detect whether the JAZF1 gene is fused with partner genes.
