STAT6 amplification can be seen in isolated fibrous tumors, dedifferentiated liposarcoma, and other tumors. Isolated fibrous tumors are accompanied by characteristic NAB2-STAT6 fusions, and STAT6 immunohistochemical expression or amplification. However, STAT6 immunohistochemical expression or amplification is not only found in isolated fibrous tumors, but also in other tumors. 2015 AJSP one-case bulk data study showed that STAT6 immunohistochemical nuclear expression was seen in 285/2021 mesenchymal tumors, of which 206/240 were isolated fibrous tumors, 49/408 were hyperdifferentiated/undifferentiated liposarcomas, and 8/65 were unclassified sarcomas. .
