CD11c is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the integrin α-chain family of proteins, also known as IGTAX, which forms a heterodimer with integrin β2, the leukocyte-specific form of integrin. CD11c is highly expressed in the majority of dendritic cells in the human body, and is also expressed in monocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, and some B cells. It is expressed in hairy cell leukemia, acute non-lymphoblastic leukemia, and some chronic lymphocytic leukemias of B-cell origin.

CD11c Antibody Reagent binds specifically to the CD11c molecular antigen. Immunohistochemistry kits containing CD11c Antibody Reagent are indicated for the diagnosis of dendritic cell and certain B-cell lymphomas, such as Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL), Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma (SMZL), and histiocytoproliferative disorders for precise diagnosis.
