Amplification of the 9p24.1 region is a recurrent genetic abnormality in nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's lymphoma. And the PD-L1 and PD-L2 genes encoding PD-1 ligand proteins (also known as CD274 and PDCD1LG2, respectively) on this segment are important target genes of the 9p24.1 segment;
Hodgkin's lymphoma data published in JCO in 2016 showed that out of 108 cases, 2 were 9p24.1 diploid, 5 were polysomy, 61 were gain, 39 were amplification, and 2 were translocation;
This probe can differentially detect whether the PD-L1 and PD-L2 loci are amplified.
