The t(1;22)(p13;q13) chromosome translocation is relatively common in acute megakaryoblastic leukemia, and the translocation rearrangement forms the fusion gene RBM15-MKL1 (also known as OTT-MAL), which can provide an auxiliary diagnostic basis for acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (AML-M7) through the detection of the RBM15/MKL1 fusion gene.
