Combination probes are used to detect double-hit/triple-hit lymphomas. Double-hit large B-cell lymphomas are seen in Burkitt-like (most common), DLBCL (occasional), TdT+ B-lymphoblastomas (occasional), plasmoblastoid lymphomas (rare), and low-grade follicular lymphomas (rare).The 2016 edition of the WHO High-grade B-cell lymphomas include Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma NOS, double-hit lymphomas, triple-hit lymphoma, MYC/BCL2 translocation alone/positive alone, MYC/BCL2 double-expressing lymphoma, and high-grade unclassified lymphoma.
