Overview of FCGR3B molecular targets
CD16 is a glycosylated phosphatidylinositol anchor chain cell membrane protein and a component of the low affinity Fcγ receptor (FcγRIII). CD16 is a component of the low-affinity Fcγ receptor (FcγRIII) and consists of two isoforms, CD16a and CD16b, with slight structural differences.CD16 is expressed in NK cells (only in mature NK cells, not in NK precursors and naive NK cells), some T lymphocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages.CD16 is a glycosylated phosphatidylinositol-anchored chain protein.
