Overview of FCGR3B molecular targets
CD16 is a glycosylated phosphatidylinositol-anchored cell membrane protein, a component of the low-affinity Fcγ receptor (FcγRIII). CD16 is a component of the low-affinity Fcγ receptor (FcγRIII) and consists of two isoforms, CD16a and CD16b, with slight structural differences.CD16 is expressed in natural killer cells (only mature natural killer cells, not natural killer precursors or naïve natural killer cells), some T-lymphocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages.CD16 is a glycosylated phosphatidylinositol-anchored chain protein.
