CD27 is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily and is structurally expressed on naïve T-cells, memory B-cells, NK-cells, hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and progenitor cells. Structurally expressed on progenitor cells.CD27 is a transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein expressed on CD4+ and CD8+ T cells that increases in expression upon T cell activation and is shed from the cell surface to form soluble CD27 (sCD27) upon activation.
