The CD45R family has four differentiated isoforms, CD45RA, CD45RB, CD45RC , CD45RO. CD45RA is expressed mainly in B lymphocytes, some thymic medullary cells, and is positive in about 80% of B-cell lymphomas and 10% of T-cell lymphomas. It is often tested in combination with other B-cell markers CD20 and CD45RB, and is mainly used as an aid in the diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma.
