Overview of CD45RO molecular target information
Molecular name: Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type C Isoform CD45RO.
Gene Family: Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase (PTP) family
Synonyms: CD45R0, CD45RO+ isoform, GP180, L-CA (Leukocyte Common Antigen), T200, UCHL1
Formerly known as: P180
Overview of the molecular targets of CD45RO
Molecular weight is 180 kD, expressed on memory/activated T lymphocytes and thymocytes, weakly on monocytes/macrophages. Expressed on monocytes/macrophages. It belongs to the PTPase receptor family and its ligand is CD22.
CD45RO has tyrosine phosphokinase activity and regulates TCR-mediated signaling. It is used clinically for immunodiagnosis of lymphoma and differentiation of NHL from solid cancer cells or sarcoma cells.
