Chronic lymphocytic leukemia CLL
13q deletion (RB1 is located at this locus) is the most common chromosomal abnormality in CLL, which occurs in 40%-60% of CLLs. del(13q14) alone is often seen at Binet stage A and has a better prognosis or is similar to that of a patient with a normal karyotype; the median survival (MS) is 133 months, and treatment-free survival (TFS) is up to 92 months. If accompanied by other chromosomal abnormalities such as +12, 11q, the prognosis is usually poorer. the incidence of ATM deletion is 12%-20%, and some patients, even if they do not have ATM deletion at the time of the initial diagnosis, can develop ATM deletion with the progression of the disease, suggesting that the deletion of ATM is closely related to the progression of CLL.
